On your site, drag down a text box and write a paragraph to answer the following questions: What locations and subject matter did you choose to shoot for your photos? I chose to take picture 1 when the class went outside to take some of our own pictures.
Describe the photos you took:What is the distance in the shot? (How close or far away are you from your subject?) the distance of the shot that i took in picture 1 was close up. What was your point of view when you took the photos? (from above, below, straight on...) when i was taking this picture, i crouched down to get a perfect angle of the picture.
Are your photographs horizontal or vertical? The picture of the chair i took is horizontal.
Did you consider the rule of thirds to compose your shots? In which photos? Describe. I did consider the rule of thirds.
Which one of of your photos is a dynamic composition that successfully leads the viewer’s eye through the work?
Photograph #5 leads the viewer's eye through the photographs.
Pattern and Texture
The distance of my favorite photo, which is photo 6, is taken up close. When i took this photo, i crouched down near the stairs to get a good point of view of the railing and its details. Photo 6 is took horizontally. I believe this photo follows the rule of thirds. I believe that photo 6 is the best representation of pattern and texture. It leads your eyes through the picture and it shows good pattern between the railings. Photo 5 is a representation of exposure. You can see that the value is higher in this picture.
